Back Pain, Spine Curves and Strength

For Americans, back pain is a common issue.  However, there are places in the world where back pain hardly exists.  An accupuncturist from California traveled the world to study how these pain-free cultures were different and remarkably discovered that people from cultures away from modern life actually had differently shaped spines!  Moreover, she found that working to change her spine from an S-curve to a J-curve reduced her pain.  To improve your own back pain, she and a neroscientist suggests strengthening your abdominal muscles.  Having strong abdominal muscles will result in better postural stability and, feasibly, less back pain.
