While always active, Erika never truly belonged to any one sport while growing up. In college, a close friend decided to make healthy habits a lifestyle and Erika was intrigued. In an effort to find a workout that wasn't a traditional gym workout, she found kickboxing. She loved the intensity, but was soon looking for something more and in early 2012 CrossFit entered the picture. She was immediately hooked, and jumped all in, getting her CrossFit Level 1 certification in October that same year.
As her fitness journey progressed, Erika found herself drawn to the olympic lifts, and in 2014, she earned her certification as a USAW Sports Performance Coach, and attended two Weightlifting Wise Art of Coaching Weightlifting seminars. She has athletic aspirations to compete in the Grid League in the coming years, along with becoming nationally competitive in weightlifting.
As a coach, she looks to help clients reach their potential through hard work, improving strength, and focusing on technique - all of which she believes is most effective while fostering personal relationships and building a community of friends and athletes.
